Dubai, UAE – April 2025 – FertiStream DMCC, a leading global fertilizer trader and distributor, is proud to announce the official inauguration of its fertilizer blending facility by Mme the Prime Minister of the Country at the Adétikopé Industrial Platform (PIA) in Togo. With an annual capacity of up to 200,000 metric tons, the plant is now fully operational and has received full endorsement from the Togolese Government.

This significant milestone reflects FertiStream’s ongoing commitment to Africa’s agricultural sector. The official ceremony, traditionally led by the President of the Republic of Togo, recognized the contributions of new and advanced companies driving the country’s industrial and agricultural development.

Developed in partnership with the Government of Togo, PIA is a modern a modern Special Economic Zone located near Lomé, established to attract investment, support local production, and enhance regional trade. The new facility, powered by advanced automation technology from EMT, produces high-quality fertilizer blends, rigorously tested and customized using national soil mapping and Government recommendations.

The plant’s local sourcing strategy also supports the Togolese economy, with raw materials and packaging procured locally.

Over 100 guests, including government officials, business partners, and clients, attended the ribbon-cutting ceremony and toured the facility.
